Launch of DIY Adviser As a Resource for Do It Yourselfers

Columbus, Ohio – DIY Adviser announced the launch of its website with the mission of providing do it yourselfers with free real time help on home repair and remodeling projects. The website features a mix of streamed videos and tips containing detailed advice and guidance. At the time of launch there were ten categories of do it yourself projects defined ranging from plumbing and electrical to doors, windows and woodworking.

“DIY Adviser is a resource for first time do it yourselfers and experienced do it yourselfers alike”, says Tom Cissell the host of DIY Adviser. “We’d like the content of DIYAdviser.com to be in direct response to visitor’s questions and suggestions.” Cissell goes on to say that they invite people with experience to add their comments to the advice posted on DIY Adviser and if they submit tips including pictures or even video, that DIY Adviser will edit the material and post it on the website for the benefit of all do it yourselfers.

Given the current state of the economy, many people are putting off hiring contractors for home repair and remodeling projects. Do it yourselfers have the advantage of being able proceed with those projects at a much lower cost and at their own pace.
